This is known as a Intrastate Mover. A new law that was passed in September of 2009 is making all Intrastate Movers carry a USDOT Number. This number does not make a Intrastate Moving Company allowed to cross state borders like a Interstate Mover. When moving out of the state make sure your mover is a Interstate Mover.
